This homepage is operated by the German law firm Schalast Rechtsanwälte as head of an international expert group of law firms specialised on OTT regulation. The expert group was founded under the roof of Multilaw, a global network of independent law firms. We advise clients on all matters of OTT regulation in the European Union and beyond. This website has been created to provide OTT providers as well as the interested public with a comprehensive overview of the legal framework in which OTT providers operate.
Schalast Rechtsanwälte is one of the leading law firms in Germany with offices in Frankfurt, Hamburg, Berlin, Düsseldorf, and Stuttgart. Providing clients from the telecommunications and cable sector with comprehensive advice is a traditional focus of our law firm. Schalast is regularly engaged in international compliance projects. The regulation of OTT providers has been a focus of our lawyers for many years. In 2020, Schalast initiated the foundation of the Multilaw Special Interest Group on OTT communications to provide clients with a one-stop-shop solution for EU-wide compliance.
